Trends come and go but the concern for health and wellness continues to grow.
According to the Global Wellness Institute, the global wellness economy reached $6.3 trillion through the end of 2023 and is expected to grow to $9 trillion by 2028.
Fueling this growth is not only a concern about physical but also mental health. It relates to what experts refer to as the ‘dimensions’ of health and wellness which include emotional, physical, social and financial elements.
It’s no surprise that the interest and demand is so high and growing. A recent study by McKinsey & Company revealed that wellness is a top priority throughout the world, including an estimated 87 per cent of consumers in China and 82 per cent in the United States.
Just as compelling, the study noted the younger demo (Gen Z and millennials) are purchasing more wellness products and services than older generations as they have a deep concern with fitness, nutrition, sleep and mindfulness.
Addressing so many elements of health and wellness on an individual basis can be a challenge, though. And for organizations that are committed to achieving the highest level of productivity and engagement, identifying a suitable, trusted resource to address these dimensions is complex too.
That’s why we created MaestroWellness. We offer a platform featuring an array of businesses and experts in a variety of health and wellness fields. To date, we have attracted businesses specializing in:
Fitness (including yoga) and nutrition
Mental health, including performance coaching
Functional medicine, and
Wellness tourism
We also have personalized solutions on the site that are providing newer offerings, including DNA testing.
Through these partners, MaestroWellness provides unique access to services and support that can help address a full range of physical and mental dimensions.
Stakes are high – for individuals and businesses
If there was any doubt that this is an opportune time to invest in health and wellness, a regional wellness report commissioned by AIA Group Limited revealed the challenges many consumers in Asia have in being healthy.
Key findings included:
80 per cent indicated they aren’t health today
57 per cent acknowledged they haven’t made any changes to their health, and
63 per cent believe that to be healthy, it requires intense and lengthy exercise that they find intimidating and in some instances, inaccessible.
Of course, the health and wellness of individuals can not only impact their personal but also professional lives, negatively impacting engagement and productivity.
The potential benefits of organizations using the MaestroWellness platform are numerous, including:
Reduced healthcare costs
Enhanced employee engagement, and
Improved productivity
This is accomplished through innovative and personalized solutions provided by our vendors.
With growing concerns about health and wellness, now is the time for organizations to explore what MaestroWellness has to offer.
